Reflection

For this curation, I was able to make my Wix page more accessible and create changes that make myself and my page look a lot better and more entertaining. I chose the accessibility review option for this assignment. I chose this option because I really wanted to take the time and clean up my Wix page and make sure it was all running smoothly. Last semester I used this site for three different classes and I never really got the chance to review all the uploaded material after it was all done. I also have never taken the time to really make sure that every picture, link, and video are all accessible and also usable for people that are disabled.

I also was able to discover some other changes outside of my accessibility review. I was able to update my homepage (see below) from Sophomore to Senior. I haven't changed it in over a year!

As you can see, on the left says sophomore and now I have changed it to senior.

The last change I made was to my resume. I completely redid my resume and now it has updated information and is very appealing and entertaining to look at. Since I am graduating soon and have had to apply for different jobs I was able to create a nice-looking resume and update it and impress who I am trying to get a job for. The original was on the right and the new one is on the left.

I feel much more confident after these changes. My resume being updated is huge because now I feel confident that I will standout from employers and have a better chance of being hired. Having my Wix page updated and accessible also makes me more confident because I now know more people can access it and see all the work that I have completed.
