COMM 351 EP 1 Curate/Reflection

The easiest part about setting up my Wix page was probably the theme and color scheme. When you first make your Wix page it allows you to choose from themes that have already been created and then you are able to fill in and add your own pages and content. The most challenging part of setting up my Wix was setting up the different sections and pages. It was a little challenging because Wix has so many different tools and features and can be challenging to see and insert certain things.

I feel great about my professional presence on social media. This is because I have recently updated my resume to make it look more appealing and entertaining. My social media is clean and does not have anything on it that would make a company or business second guess me and my capabilities. I am excited about my Wix page because I have made so many changes and updates because almost all of my communications classes have made me use Wix. This is also really cool because I get to see all of the work I have completed and the changes I have made over the span of three years.

My social media presence reflects my professional self because I am constantly using social media to connect with others and also post my happenings and accomplishments. My posts are not all about my work but it has a balance which I think is just as important. My social media reflects myself and what people see. I have a lot of personality, I am hard working, and I do like to have fun and those are all parts of me I want everyone to see.

The only change I made was adding my LinkedIn on my contacts page so that anyone accessing my Wix can see my professional LinkedIn page. I have no questions about the E-Portfolio at this time.
