Accessibility is very important when creating a website. When you have all-around accessibility, anyone can access it and it is accommodating for people with disabilities. This was an interesting review and I was able to find a few different things to fix on my website, not many but a few. The nice thing was that all my blog posts were accessible and had closed captions on my videos and bolding was needed and used appropriately. Below I will have a before and after picture of my findings and changes then a description to go along with it.

On the left is the before and on the right is the after. On my homepage, I have a picture of myself. I decided to add a feature where when you click on the picture there will be a description and you'll be

able to see the picture up close. This feature allows people to see descriptions and get a better look.

This is also a little similar to the previous one. I added a feature that allows you to magnify my resume. It allows you to read my resume better and see the words and letters up close. This allows someone who cannot see very well to magnify and read my resume. This one is a little harder to see before and after because it is an interactive tool. Once again, the before picture is on the left, and the after picture is on the right.

This one was a big change for my website. This link was not set up for accessibility the first time. This link was to show a video of me presenting my research proposal. You have to scroll down in that tiny box in order to see the video but this image makes it look like you click the picture but it actually takes you to make an account not watch my video. My adjustment was I

made the link picture bigger so that you could see the video and just click play from that screen. Again, before picture on the left, after picture on the right.
